Tari Eason
Tari Eason hits four triples, scores 17 points
Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 4:29 PM
Tari Eason accounted for 17 points (6-of-17 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, one steal, one block and four three-pointers in Monday's win over the Grizzlies.
Analysis: Eason returned to the court on Monday after missing Friday's win over the Pistons, and he was placed back in the starting lineup immediately. The production was good, with the Rockets' forward now having knocked down at least four three-pointers in five games this season. Last season, Eason had one such game. He does remain under a minutes restriction, but Eason doesn't need to log heavy minutes to provide solid fantasy value.
Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant records 33 points, eight rebounds
Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 4:29 PM
Kevin Durant tallied 33 points (11-of-24 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one block and four three-pointers in Monday's win over the Grizzlies.
Analysis: For the first time this season, Durant has recorded three consecutive 30-point games. And he kept the turnovers in check, as that category has been a minor issue for nine-cat managers recently. Over the past two weeks, Durant has been a third-round player in nine-cat, one round behind his eight-cat value. But this is picking nits; KD's fantasy value has remained excellent throughout his first season in Houston.
Alperen Sengun
Alperen ?engün posts 33/9/6/1 line vs. Memphis
Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 4:28 PM
Alperen ?engün finished Monday's win over the Grizzlies with 33 points (15-of-17 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists and one steal.
Analysis: Simply put, the Grizzlies had no answer for ?engün, regardless of who they gave the task of defending him. The Rockets center made his first seven shot attempts and shot 15-of-17 from the field on the night. The 33 points were the most in a game for ?engün since December 15, when he hit that number in an overtime loss to the Nuggets. Add in the rebounds and assists, and Monday was an excellent night to have ?engün rostered.
Tari Eason
Eason, KD, Sengun, Smith, Thompson to start Monday
Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 1:37 PM
Jackson Gatlin
Tari Eason, Kevin Durant, Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr., and Amen Thompson will start against the Grizzlies on Monday.
Analysis: Eason is off the injury report and back in the starting lineup for the Rockets, sending Josh Okogie back to the bench. Houston has had an up-and-down season but has won four out of its last five games. With their starting unit back intact, the Rockets will have a stronger chance of collecting another win against a banged-up Gizzlies team.
Aaron Holiday
Aaron Holiday (back) available Monday vs. Memphis
Mon, Jan 26, 2026, 1:36 PM
NBA Injury Report
Aaron Holiday (back) is available for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
Analysis: After a five-game absence, Holiday is available for Tuesday's game. However, while he may see some action, the reserve point guard is unlikely to get the time needed to affect fantasy basketball. Leave Holiday on the waiver wire.
Aaron Holiday
Aaron Holiday (back) probable Monday vs. Memphis
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 11:36 AM
NBA Injury Report
Aaron Holiday (back) is probable for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
Analysis: Holiday has missed Houston's last five games with a back injury. While having the veteran guard available would give the Rockets another option off the bench, Holiday is not a lock to play rotation minutes.
Dorian Finney-Smith
Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) available Monday
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 11:32 AM
NBA Injury Report
Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) is off the injury report for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
Analysis: Finney-Smith is available after sitting out Friday's win over the Pistons for injury maintenance. While the veteran forward's availability allows Houston to expand its rotation, Finney-Smith won't affect fantasy basketball.
Tari Eason
Tari Eason (ankle) absent from injury report
Sun, Jan 25, 2026, 11:28 AM
NBA Injury Report
Tari Eason (ankle) is off the injury report for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
Analysis: Eason did not play in Friday's win over the Pistons, allowing Josh Okogie to start and play 35 minutes. Eason's return will likely push Okogie to the bench, and there isn't much to gain from streaming him in that role.
Clint Capela
Clint Capela tallies 5/9/1/1/3 line off bench
Fri, Jan 23, 2026, 4:28 PM
Clint Capela provided a boost off the bench with five points (2-of-5 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocks on Friday against the Pistons.
Analysis: Capela hasn't been more than a depth piece down low for the Rockets this season, which hasn't resulted in much production in the box score. However, with Steven Adams (ankle) out indefinitely, Capela has taken on more minutes and was able to contribute some boards and blocks in this game. He'll be a solid reserve moving forward, but as long as Alperen ?engün is healthy, Capela won't play enough to be worth rostering.
Kevin Durant
Durant drops 32 points with five triples in win
Fri, Jan 23, 2026, 4:19 PM
Kevin Durant led the Rockets with 32 points (11-of-19 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and five three-pointers in a 111-104 win over the Pistons on Friday.
Analysis: Durant got off to a hot start in this game and entered halftime with 18 points. He remained hot after the break and ended up scoring at least 30 points for the second time in 24 hours. Durant has now shot at least 55 percent from the floor in four of his last five games. He has been hot recently and continues to play big minutes; he's averaging 39.3 minutes per game over the past two weeks. As long as he's on the floor, KD will continue to shine.
Jabari Smith
Jabari Smith Jr. records 11/10/3/2/2 line vs. DET
Fri, Jan 23, 2026, 4:12 PM
Jabari Smith Jr. stuffed the stat sheet on Friday with 11 points (5-of-9 FGs), 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Pistons.
Analysis: Smith has had some subpar performances recently, but he was able to turn in a strong line on Friday. This was only his second double-double of the month, and despite being a high-level defender, Smith hasn't been able to consistently contribute defensive stats. That wasn't the case in this game. He didn't do much scoring, but he was efficient. He'll look to keep it going against the Grizzlies on Monday.
Aaron Holiday
Aaron Holiday (back) ruled out Friday vs. Pistons
Fri, Jan 23, 2026, 12:24 PM
NBA Injury Report
Aaron Holiday (back) will miss Friday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: Holiday is set to miss his fifth consecutive game when the Rockets take on the Pistons in Detroit. The veteran guard has spent the majority of his three seasons in Houston as a depth piece, and his absence on Friday will leave an opportunity for Reed Sheppard to continue to soak up the majority of the backup point guard minutes.
Tari Eason
Tari Eason, Dorian Finney-Smith out Friday vs. DET
Fri, Jan 23, 2026, 8:07 AM
NBA Injury Report
Tari Eason (ankle) and Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) are out for Friday's matchup with the Pistons.
Analysis: Both players will get the night off for injury maintenance, which means Josh Okogie and Reed Sheppard should see additional minutes against Detroit.
Alperen Sengun
Alperen ?engün posts 13/8/7/2/2 line vs. PHI
Thu, Jan 22, 2026, 3:48 PM
Alperen ?engün amassed 13 points (5-of-15 FGs, 2-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer in Thursday's loss to the 76ers.
Analysis: While ?engün finished Thursday's overtime defeat with a complete stat line, the efficiency was lacking. He shot 33.3 percent from the field and even worse from the foul line, struggling to get much going against the 76ers' center rotation. Nights like Thursday haven't been the norm for ?engün, but he'll have another difficult matchup on Friday when the Rockets visit the Pistons.
Amen Thompson
Amen Thompson records 17/6/9/3 line vs. PHI
Thu, Jan 22, 2026, 3:48 PM
Amen Thompson accumulated 17 points (7-of-11 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, nine assists and three steals in Thursday's loss to the 76ers.
Analysis: Thompson's improved field-goal percentage has given his fantasy value a welcome boost recently. Over the past two weeks, he's shot 52.3 percent from the field, one reason why the Rockets' guard/forward has been provided top-50 per-game value during this run. Obviously, fantasy managers have to put three-pointers when rostering Thompson, but there's a lot that he brings to the table despite that “deficiency.”
Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant leads Rockets with 36 points vs. PHI
Thu, Jan 22, 2026, 3:47 PM
Kevin Durant accounted for 36 points (13-of-21 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and five three-pointers in Thursday's loss to the 76ers.
Analysis: After totaling 36 points on 12-of-30 shooting in his previous two games, Durant equalled the points tally on Thursday. However, while the shooting was highly efficient, he was responsible for a season-high eight turnovers. That may be a byproduct of Houston's lack of a stable point guard, as Durant was left to navigate Philadelphia's defensive pressure without much help. And things won't get any easier for KD, as the Rockets visit the Pistons on Friday.
Aaron Holiday
Aaron Holiday is out for Thursday's game
Thu, Jan 22, 2026, 8:27 AM
NBA.com
Aaron Holiday (back) is listed as out for Thursday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Holiday will now have missed three straight games with a back injury and four of the last five. The one game he did play, he was only able to play for four minutes. He only averages 14 minutes per game on the season, so this is not a major loss for the Rockets' rotation.
Aaron Holiday
Aaron Holiday (back) questionable Thursday
Wed, Jan 21, 2026, 11:00 AM
NBA Injury Report
Aaron Holiday (back) is questionable for Thursday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Holiday is dealing with back spasms, which is why he is on the injury report. The guard's availability does not affect fantasy basketball, as he isn't guaranteed rotation minutes when healthy.
Amen Thompson
Amen Thompson posts 16/10/6/1/2 line vs. SAS
Tue, Jan 20, 2026, 5:11 PM
Amen Thompson recorded 16 points (6-of-14 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), 10 rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocked shots in Tuesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: Thompson recorded another robust stat line, continuing to offer excellent fantasy value. The Rockets' guard/forward has been a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. While the value may not align with his Yahoo! ADP (21), Thompson is only two rounds off after getting off to a slow start to begin the season. Something to watch is whether Houston adds a point guard ahead of the trade deadline, as that would affect Thompson's fantasy ceiling.
Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant notches 18 points, seven assists
Tue, Jan 20, 2026, 5:09 PM
Kevin Durant accumulated 18 points (7-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in Tuesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: After going off for a season-high 39 in a January 17 win over the Timberwolves, Durant has totaled 36 over his last two games. However, he was more efficient on Tuesday than in Sunday's win over the Pelicans, and the seven assists were a nice bonus for fantasy managers. Durant has recorded 22 assists over the last three games and has offered second-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks.
